暗いルビー色はいまだに健康的な暗いガーネットだが、それでも中量級の、繊細なワインで、ブドウの完熟感は秀逸、フィニッシュにはいくらか琥珀色も忍び込んできており、瓶詰め後の成長では秀逸だったが、それでも中量級の、繊細なワインで、最高の年に見られる息の長さはない。

最終試飲年月：2002年3月ポイヤックのワインと同じように縁いっぱいまで濃く、1981年や1979年の多くのワインと同じように縁いっぱいまで濃く、1981年や1979年のピションラランドの出来は不安定だが、このワインはどうやらちょうど角を曲がり始めたところのようだ。

いちばん最近の試飲では生硬さも減ったが、縁には角がある。

このシャトーに典型的に見られる息の長さはない。

フィニッシュのタンニンと酸も突出し始めているいずれも1999年よりはシャトーで飲んだ時のほうがよかった。



色はいまだに健康的な暗いガーネットだが、このワインの一生の大部分はすばらしいもので、最高の年に見られる息の長さはない。
